World Mental Health Day
WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY
On the 10th October, every year, we mark the occasion of World Mental Health Day. Mental health exists in our lives and we should do as much as possible to look after our mental health - as individuals and as a society.
Today is a chance to talk about mental health in general, how we need to look after it, and how important it is to talk about your thoughts and feelings and to seek help if you are struggling.
Good mental health is just as important as good physical health.

1 in 5 adults in NI has experienced a mental health problem.
1 in 8 children & young persons in NI have experienced emotional problems
